Career Day

Redwood Region Logging Conference is excited to introduce a Natural Resource Career Day to be held in conjunction with their 83rd Annual Logging Conference.  This year’s conference will be held March 17 - 19, 2022 at the Redwood Acres Fairground in Eureka, California, with Career Day being held on Friday, March 18th.

 

We are inviting local Sophomore, Junior and Senior High School Students as well as Junior College Students to attend this event and talk with experts in the timber industry about career possibilities in our region.  Students will be introduced to a wide variety of opportunities as they tour the career “stations” in groups of about ten students.  Stations will include everything from equipment operators and timber fallers to wildlife biologists.  This information will help students understand the varied employment opportunities in the Natural Resource fields.

 

Preregistration is required and space is limited.  Print the Career Day Sign-up form and return it to the RRLC office by mail, email (rrlc@sonic.net) or fax if you have a group of students who would benefit from this opportunity.  You will receive a confirmation following your registration.
